Palliative Hospice Care

Hospice Care and Palliative Care

We are all concerned about our aging parents. In North America we have hidden the truth about end of life. Palliative Care refers to making a person as comfortable as possible at the end of their life. This includes pain relief medicine and comfortable surroundings. These care methods are not focussed on fixing the disease process but comfort only.

Hospice Care is designed for these comfort measures, and to provide a positive environment for family to say good bye to their dying loved one.

There is a new website with good information about what to expect in a palliative care setting or hospice care setting.
